The Kleis product

Planning Center stays your source. WordPress becomes your experience.

Kleis connects the content your church already maintains to the WordPress tools you use to build a thoughtful public website.

One connected workflow

Publish once, then design without compromise.

Publishing episodes become native WordPress Episode posts. Calendar events stay current through flexible blocks. Your team owns the content in Planning Center; your website team controls how it looks and works in WordPress.

What you need

  • WordPress 6.0 or newer and PHP 8.0 or newer.
  • An active Kleis subscription with one available site activation.
  • Planning Center access for Publishing, Calendar, or both.
  • A WordPress administrator who can install plugins and manage settings.

Modern block themes offer the most direct template-building experience. Other themes and builders can work when they support native blocks and custom post types, but Kleis does not guarantee every third-party builder integration.

A secure, managed connection

Kleis uses Planning Center OAuth, so site owners authorize access without putting a Planning Center password or OAuth client secret in WordPress. Access and refresh tokens are encrypted and stored outside the WordPress site; the service proxy only permits read requests for supported Publishing and Calendar paths.

Private webhook URLs can keep published sermon changes moving to WordPress in the background. Automatic token refreshing and managed plugin updates help the connection stay dependable over time.

Connect Planning Center to WordPress with Kleis.

Use the content your team already maintains, then control the public design with WordPress.
